TCHS Archives and Library Committee Welcome
The Archives and Library Committee works to fulfill the core mission of the Taos County Historical Society—“to preserve the irreplaceable.” We arrange and describe collections of historical documentary materials, including letters, deeds, maps, photographs, tapes, periodicals and books as well as other items relevant to the history of Taos County. If you have materials that you’d like to offer as gifts to the TCHS, please contact us.
We make the TCHS archives available to the public for research and study. Please consult the TCHS collection finding aids on New Mexico Archives Online . Regular hours are Mondays and Thursdays, 1-5 pm. Please use the contact information below to make an appointment.
We are temporarily located behind the Lunder Research Center / Couse-Sharp Historic Site, 138 and 146 Kit Carson Road, Taos. We are grateful to them as colleagues and hosts.
